Accessibility
Ghost Transportation Services is a federally regulated employer, governed by the Accessible Canada Act and Regulations, working toward a barrier-free Canada by January 2040.
Statement of commitment
A barrier-free environment
Ghost is committed to providing a barrier-free environment for all stakeholders, including clients, employees, job applicants, suppliers, and any visitors who enter the premises, access information provided by the company, or use the company goods and services.
The Accessibility Plan was developed in consultation with employees and disability rights organizations, including SaskAbilities, Cosmo Industries, the Canada Association for Supported Employment, Inclusion Canada, and Sarcan Recycling.
Their plan names its own barriers plainly, including in employment, the built environment, and information and communication technologies, and pairs each with actions. Its stated actions include revising the website and job postings to show their equal opportunity commitment, and completing a website audit to find and fix accessibility issues in phases.
